Praying for you.

Diana

Sandra,

Last Thanksgiving is constantly on my mind. I'm so glad that I surprised you and Mami. It's a decision that I will always be thankful for.

Now I'm with my husband and his family as they face what is their father's last Thanksgiving and it's just too close to home. I want to support them and help them in their grief, but all I can think is, I'm still grieving about MY mother. I'm still in pain over MY loss.

Of course, those words will be kept silent as I muster up the strength for hugs and words of comfort, and a lot of prayer.

I will also think all day about last year and draw comfort in our last Thanksgiving with Mami. She was so happy to be with us.

Love you,
Diana
