There's something wrong, and I don't know what it is or how or when it will get better. I have crazy symptoms from swollen feet, a bloated belly (even more than usual), tingly extremities, occasional fever, inability to shake any/all bugs and utter exhaustion. Oh, and I had two ANA (Antinuclear Antibody) tests come back positive.
What does this mean? I won't know until I see a specialist the second week of December (couldn't get in any earlier). In the meantime, each day is like I've pulled a symptom out of a grab bag and hooray! <insert sarcasm> I can barely walk or get off the couch. Today I had a fever the first half of the day and my feet felt permanently on pins and needles so each step was literally a pain.
Then there's the 12 lbs I've gained seemingly overnight, and the fact that none of my shoes will fit properly, because my friggin' feet are ginormous. I know these symptoms could be something easily treatable, but until the specialist gives me answers, I'm in limbo. Part of me wants to panic, but another, more logical part of me thinks -- don't worry until you have reason to worry.
So that's the sucky news from this part of the world. But there's plenty of good news too, so I'm going to count my blessings in another post.
